About the Mighty Eagle Band

UIL Music
The Prosper Band has qualified for the State Marching Contest as both a 5A and 6A high school. The concert bands are consecutive UIL Sweepstakes recipients. In addition the Prosper Bands have received several Foundation for Music Education Mark of Excellence and Citation of Excellence honors. |

National Contests
The Mighty Eagle Band is a Top 3 finalist at the HEB Marching Competition and has been a finalist at Bands of America National Super Regional, and Regional Competitions in the recent years. The Prosper Percussion ensemble has been a performing ensemble at the Music for All National Conference and PASIC. Recently, the Prosper Percussion Ensemble placed 1st at the Percussive Arts Society International Conference Chamber Music Competition. |

Band in Prosper ISD
• Prosper ISD has been recognized 4 times as a NAMM Best Community for Music Education. • Have approximately 1,000 students across the school district and is GROWING! • Have been invited to the Meyerson Symphony Hall to participate at the Dallas Winds Invitational. • Prosper Bands receive consistent and consecutive sweepstakes awards at the UIL Concert and Sight Reading contests. |
